Website Process


After you fill out the questionnaire below, we will set up a phone call, Skype, or Google Hangout session. We will ask you some questions regarding your business, vision and goals for your website design and build and you get the chance to ask us any questions that come to mind. This step will give us both a chance to get to know one another and ensure we are going to make an awesome team.


After our consult, we will put together a formal proposal for our project together and send it your way. If everything prepared is approved by you, we will send you a contract to sign electronically. You will also kindly complete the invoice for our required retainer to hold your spot in the Studio Linear queue at this time. * please note this deposit is nonrefundable.

3. Wireframe

We will review your questionnaire and any feedback in our kickoff call and start working on your new site design. We build your wire frame right in Squarespace as opposed to developing a seperate design. This way, you get a chance to see how your new site will look in realtime vs. a PDF mockup. This is simply to show a layout and does not reflect your business brand or style at this phase.

5. Design and Build

Once we have gone over your wireframe, we then request content from you such as copy and imagery for you site. We take this content and start plugging it into your custom theme. We set all design elements such as colors, fonts and add in extras like social media blocks, newsletters, slideshows and anything additional your new site requires. If you are looking for something more custom, we work with our developer in designing and building you these customizations. If you find that developing your copy is a daunting task, we also have a copywriter on staff to help your there as well. Our development and copywriting add-ons are an extra fee outside of our packages so please request if you need this service so that we can get you a quote.

6. view new temp site

This is a very exciting phase in the process, you have the chance to view your new site in real-time which means you get to see how the functionally comes together and test out the flow of your new site. We open this phase up for your feedback in updating the design so that we can customize it to your liking. If you have a Commerce site, we then start helping you build your products, set up shipping and taxes and all things related to shopping.

6. LAUNCHING and training

At this final stage, we send you an invite to view your site dashboard and set up a training session with you to teach you how to edit your new site. We then set up a launch date to make your new site live!
